5th edition “Euro-Arab Banking Dialogue”

Banca UBAE was the sponsor of the event arranged by the “Union of Arab Banks” in cooperation with ABI (Italian Banking Association), which was held in Rome on 1 November 2013. The 5th edition of the “Euro-Arab Banking Dialogue” was focused on investments and the Islamic Finance.

The round table, addressed to the opportunities and measures for the integration of Islamic banking system in Europe, was attended by the General Manager of Banca UBAE – Mr. Mario Sabato – who pointed out the opportunity of introducing the Islamic Finance in Italy, drawing attention to the need to have a prior clear regulatory framework.

The forum was attended by Ministers, Governors of central banks and representatives of the main banks from different countries in the World.
